One-piece Natural Wood ThumbstickPrice: £26 We try to keep a few of these sticks in stock but it is not always possible - the long ones sell faster so we usually have several shorter ones and only one or two long ones in stock. If we have to make one you may have to wait a few weeks but we will always tell you if your wait is likely to be more than three weeks. You can choose a particular kind of wood or just let us send whatever is in stock at the time - recommended if you are in a rush! We occasionally use wood types not listed below if we come across them. |

We sell lots of sticks for children - they have no problems being seen with sticks - only elderly people feel any stigma associated with "being old"! |

Extra Long sticks are sometimes available - but we don't cut many each year because they are difficult to find! We cut so few that we are not offering a choice of wood - but you can email us to find out what we have if you need to. |

We try to keep a few of these sticks in stock but it is not always possible. If we have to make one you may have to wait a few weeks but we will always tell you if your wait is likely to be more than three weeks. If you prefer to buy Gift Vouchers for a friend to spend for themselves then click the link. We like to use interesting and unusual woods for the handles Typically we would use something from the following list: Elm, Sycamore, Cherry, Walnut, Beech, Alder, Ash, Oak and Mahogany - but if we see something we like we will try it. As each of these sticks is handmade, no two are identical. Occasionally we are asked to make a pair of sticks and we can try to make them as similar as possible. If you wish to specify a choice of wood for the handle then please email first to check availability. Shanks are usually hazel but we sometimes use other woods, a brass ferrule is fitted at the tip as standard - if you require anything else then tick the appropriate box when ordering. Brass collars may be fitted on some of our sticks in stock or can be requested when ordering. We can make sticks for "outsize" people - very tall, very heavy or very short (we often make sticks for children) - if you need to discuss any of this then please do so before ordering - email here If you would like to have a plain or engraved collar fitted, go HERE Y-shaped thumb handle mounted on a
Hazel or Chestnut shank for durability and strength. This
handle is gripped with the thumb in the fork and the fingers
wrapped around the lower portion of the Y. |
