Horns are naturally grown items and the size and quality varies considerably. Each horn has to be heated and shaped - a skilled and time-consuming process - and few horns will turn out perfect. This is to be expected and natural cracks and colour variations must be accepted as normal characteristics. Obviously you would not receive a horn stick that had serious defects! If you require a crook as a working tool, for catching sheep, then it would need to be ordered well in advance - the ones we keep in stock are generally for light use, as in walking/hiking. These sticks are not always
available immediately but we try to keep a few horn sticks
in stock - you can email
