To use the Forum fully you must be "Registered". "Guests" may only access a few of the discussion topics and may not ask questions or post any messages to the Forum or individual members - to do these things you must become a Registered Member.
Look in the top right of the screen and click on the link entitled "Register" then follow the simple instructions. PLEASE NOTE that you must spend several seconds reading the Terms section before you can click on the "I accept" button - this is to ensure that you DO read them and also to help prevent automated registrations by robots. Your application for membership will be forwarded to the Admin team and, if approved, you should receive an e mail asking you to click on a link to activate your membership.
This has become necessary to prevent unwanted registrations from people who simply wish to advertise unwanted items (such as drugs and porn) and have no interest in the Forum. NOTE: IF YOU USE A SPAM BLOCKER TO FILTER YOUR E MAILS IT IS UNLIKELY THAT OUR AUTOMATED ONES WILL GET THROUGH SO YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BECOME A MEMBER UNLESS YOU SWITCH IT OFF FOR A FEW DAYS TO LET OUR E MAILS REACH YOU. If you don't respond to our e mails your application will be rejected and you will have wasted my time as well as your own
Once you have activated your membership and you can use the "Login" feature with the username and password you chose upon registration. You can then click the link in the top left of the screen entitled "User Control Panel" where you can control individual settings for yourself - such as allowing other members to email you or send "Private Messages" in which case your email address is kept secret - I would advise this to prevent unwanted "spam".
IF YOU REGISTER FOR MEMBERSHIP BUT DO NOT GET AN EMAIL FROM US WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS PLEASE GO HERE : http://www.thestickman.co.uk/email.htm and send an e mail using the "Forum application" form. Tell us your USERNAME that you have chosen and where you are in the world.
Once you have been accepted and you subsequently return to the forum you do not need to Register again - you use the "Login" link. Make sure your computer is set to accept "cookies" or the login will fail!
Please be aware that if you do not use the forum for an extended period your membership may be terminated without warning.
NOTE: USERS FROM CERTAIN COUNTRIES, NOTABLY RUSSIA, EASTERN EUROPE, AFRICA, THE FAR EAST AND SOUTH AMERICA ARE ALMOST ALWAYS BANNED BY DEFAULT BECAUSE OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.
